Lot 780 Remington Model 11 12 Ga #89889
Designed by John Moses Browning, the classic Model 11 is a standard weight semi-auto shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 12 Gauge shells. This is a vintage semiautomatic shotgun manufactured between 1910 and 1911. Shotgun features blued refinish, 26" barrel marked "FULL" choke, adjustable choke, brass bead front sight, serrated sliding safety at the front of the trigger guard, and smooth slightly curved trigger. The walnut furniture consists of a smooth walnut forend, checkered semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, flat bottom pistol grip, 14" length-of-pull, 1-9/16" drop at comb, 2-1/8" drop at heel, and checkered plastic butt plate. Shotgun retains approximately 98% of its blued refinish with small handling blemishes, and superficial scratches. Metal displays light rust around the trigger guard, and some metal deformation is observed in some of the screw slots. Factory markings are sharp, and the bore shows rust or erosion. Wood is in fair condition with varnish added, scattered scratches and dents, about a 1" hairline crack on the bottom of the forend, and the shoulder stock is a replacement. The action is smooth and crisp.
